Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and The Camillo's Srl, Via del Circo Massimo 9, 00153 Roma, Italy ("we"), for using Kantus. By creating an account you accept them.
Who can use Kantus
You must be 18 or older. One account per person, ensemble or organisation, with true information about who you are. You are responsible for what happens under your account; keep your password to yourself.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right you have over what you publish: music, recordings, scores, photos and words. So that Kantus can show it, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, reproduce and display your content inside Kantus, and to show it to other users. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users already received in messages.
Publish only what you have the right to publish. For a recording, that means the rights of the composer, of the performers and of whoever made the recording. Kantus plays short excerpts on purpose; full listening belongs to the platforms you link to.
Zero tolerance
There is no place on Kantus for content or behaviour that is abusive. You must not:
- harass, threaten, bully or intimidate anyone, or keep contacting someone who has blocked you;
- post hateful, sexually explicit, violent or otherwise objectionable content;
- sexualise, endanger or exploit minors in any way (Child Safety Standards);
- impersonate another person, or claim work, credits or performances that are not yours;
- post spam, scams or misleading content, or use Kantus for advertising unrelated to your music;
- upload content that infringes someone else's rights;
- scrape the service, get around its limits or security, or use it in breach of the law.
Reports, blocks and moderation
Every post, comment, message and profile can be reported from its menu, and anyone can be blocked from the same menus. Blocking hides both of you from each other and stops any further contact. We read every report within 24 hours. You can also report content to support@kantus.it.
When content breaks these terms we remove it, and we may suspend or close the account that posted it. Repeat offenders are removed. When we remove your content or restrict your account we tell you why, and you can ask us to look at the decision again by writing to the same address.
Kantus as it is
Kantus is free. We work to keep it running and safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or discontinue features. Agreements between users (a commission, a performance, a fee) are between those users: we are not a party to them. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, nor your rights as a consumer.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from the app (how). We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
Changes and law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law and the courts of the country where you live.
