Child Safety Standards
Kantus, by The Camillo's Srl. Last updated: 3 October 2026
Kantus has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everything on Kantus: profiles, posts, photos, audio, files, comments and private messages.
Kantus is for adults
You must be 18 or older to use Kantus. When we find an account that belongs to a minor, we close it.
What is forbidden
- Any material that shows or describes the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor, including drawn, altered or AI-generated images.
- Sexualising a minor in words, images or sound.
- Grooming: contacting a minor, or someone who says they are one, to gain their trust for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or asking a minor for sexual content or a meeting.
- Sharing links to, or asking for, any of the above.
How to report
- In the app: open the menu on a post or a profile, or press and hold a comment or a message, then tap Report. Choose Sexual or violent content, or Something else and tell us what you saw. The person you report does not learn who reported them.
- By email: support@kantus.it, with "Child safety" in the subject.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call the police first (112 in the European Union).
Do not download, screenshot or forward the material, not even to report it. Report it where you saw it.
What we do
- We read every report within 24 hours, and child safety reports before any other.
- When a report is confirmed, we suspend the account at once and remove the content from Kantus.
- We report it to the Italian Postal and Communications Police (Polizia Postale e delle Comunicazioni), and, when the people involved are in another country, to the competent authorities there, including the CyberTipline of the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- We keep the report and the account data the authorities need, and share them only with the authorities.
- We cooperate with requests from law enforcement.
Compliance
Kantus complies with the child safety laws that apply to it, including Italian and European Union law, and with the Child Safety Standards policy of Google Play.
